Wine Description

100% Malbec 

Region: Finca Las Nubes, at 1,850 meters of altitude, in the foothills of the El Cajón mountain ranges, in the Alto Valle from Cafayate, Province of Salta, Argentina.

Vineyards: From Finca Las Nubes, 12 years old, with soils sandy-stony, deep and well drained, trellises of five thousand plants/ha (2x1m) with tillage sustainable, drip irrigation, with a yield of 10 ton/ha. High altitude microclimate, warm and clear days, between 15 and 20 °C thermal amplitude, little rain, allowing healthy and ripe whole grapes to be harvested mind, with excellent colors, aromas and flavors.

Vinification: The harvest is manual in 20 kilo boxes, at the end of March, selection of clusters in the winery, destemming, crushed and refrigerated. Cold maceration and fermentationtion with selected yeasts at 15 °C. Rest on the fine lees, allowing some self-clarificationtion by the action of the natural cold of winter.

Tasting note: Intense ruby ​​red with violet edges. Very fruity, typical of the region, with notes of plum, raisins and pepper. The time spent in French oak contributes subtle notes of vanilla and toasted aromas. Voluminous, intense structure, with soft and gentle tannins, balanced and harmonious finish.

Pairing: Ideal with red meats, lamb dishes and barbecue

Serving temperature: Between 16 oC – 18 oC
